Privacy policy
This policy covers data Zway collects through this website and through client engagements. In short: we collect what you type into the form, what you send us by email, and what you enter when booking a call. We do not sell any of it, and you can have it deleted by emailing us.

What we collect from this website
The form on this site asks for your name, email, website, what you are building, where distribution is stuck, and optionally what you have already tried, your phone number, and your LinkedIn. Only the first five are required. It appears on the request access page and at the foot of blog posts and playbooks, and below the booking panel on the demo page. Nothing on this site is hidden behind it: every page is readable in full without filling anything in.
Your email address is checked before the form will send, through an email verification service, to confirm it can receive mail and is not a temporary or disposable address. The check returns a yes or no on that address alone. We do not learn anything else about you from it.
When you book a call, you leave this site for zcal, an external scheduling tool, which collects your name, email address, and the time you choose so the booking can happen. That is zcal's data to hold, under its own privacy policy, and it appears in our calendar so we can prepare for the call. You can also write to support@zway.ai directly, which reaches the same inbox.
We also run Google Tag Manager, which loads two further tools: Google Analytics, to see which pages get read and where visitors come from, and Microsoft Clarity, which records anonymised session replays and heatmaps of how visitors move through a page so we can see where a page confuses people. Clarity masks the text you type into any field by default. Neither tool is used to target you with advertising, and this site runs no advertising or retargeting pixel of any kind. Exactly which cookies each tool sets, and for how long, is on the cookie policy.
Why we collect it
To reply to you, to prepare for a call, and to decide whether we are a fit. That is the entire purpose. We do not sell personal data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not add you to unrelated mailing lists because you booked a call or sent us an email.
Where it is stored
Form answers go to a private Google Sheet in our own Google account, and the same answers are emailed to us so a person sees them. Nobody outside Zway has access to that Sheet. We use the answers to reply to you and to follow up, nothing else, and we do not add you to a mailing list off the back of a form.
Bookings live inside zcal, on its own infrastructure. Emails live in our own inbox. Neither writes to a database we run ourselves, which is deliberate: the fewer systems your details pass through, the fewer places they can go wrong.
Client engagement data
If you become a client, we additionally hold the material needed to do the work: your company documents, the content produced for you, and the access required to publish on the channels you authorise. We prefer delegated access, such as an admin role on your own page, over shared passwords. Where a credential is unavoidable, it is held in a managed secrets store rather than in a document or a chat message.
Your data is scoped to your account. It is not pooled with other clients and it is not used to do work for anyone else.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails that do not turn into an engagement are kept for up to twenty-four months so we recognise you if you come back, then deleted. Bookings are retained inside zcal for as long as its own policy keeps them. Client records are kept for the duration of the engagement and for as long afterwards as we are legally required to retain business records.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@zway.ai and we will action it. We will not ask you to justify the request, and we will confirm in writing when it is done.
Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to processing, to restrict it, or to complain to a data protection authority. Nothing in this policy limits those rights.
Access revocation
When an engagement ends, our access to your accounts is revoked and the accounts remain entirely yours, because they always were. Your source documents are handed over. You can request deletion of the working data we hold at the same time.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy materially, we will change the reviewed date at the top and, for existing clients, tell you directly rather than relying on you noticing.
