What Jasper is built for

Enterprise and upper mid-market marketing teams that need brand voice held consistent across many contributors. Jasper publishes that it serves over 900 enterprise customers, and the product is shaped for organisations that already have marketers, reviewers, and a publishing process in place.

What Zway is built for

Founders with no marketing team and no publishing process. Zway assumes nobody is waiting to receive a draft, so the machine layer produces it and a trained operator ships it on the company's own channels.

These are different products, and that is the first honest thing to say

Jasper is a marketing platform for teams. It repositioned to a multi-agent workspace in 2025 and describes itself as built for modern marketing teams. Its published customer numbers point the same way: it says it serves over 900 enterprise customers.

Zway is an execution service for founders who do not have a marketing team at all. Comparing them on price per seat is comparing the wrong attribute, because one of the two includes the person who does the work.

We are writing this page because founders do put both on the same shortlist, usually at the moment they realise nothing has been published in six weeks.

What we verified, and on what date

Everything factual below was checked against Jasper's own pages on 27 August 2026. Their product changes, so treat the date as part of the claim.

Jasper's published integration list contains no native publishing destination for any CMS, social network, ad platform, or email platform. The export integrations that exist deliver .docx and .png files into Google Drive, SharePoint, and Box. Jasper's own help documentation describes publishing to WordPress as running through Zapier or Make, which requires a Jasper API token and a Business plan.

The publish question, stated fairly

Jasper's marketing does say publish everywhere, and there is a real capability behind that phrasing which we are not going to misrepresent.

Jasper ships a browser extension that overlays sites including LinkedIn, WordPress, HubSpot, and Gmail. You work inside those sites with Jasper generating and editing copy in place. That is genuinely useful, and anyone telling you Jasper cannot touch LinkedIn or WordPress is wrong.

The accurate version is narrower. Those are overlays rather than publish integrations. The copy is produced in context, and then a human being presses publish inside the other product. For a marketing team, that human being exists and this is a non-issue. For a two person startup, that human being is the founder at eleven at night, and it is the entire issue.

Where the market split really is

Jasper solves a problem that appears above a certain size. When six people write for the same brand, voice drifts, briefs get reinterpreted, and the review process becomes the bottleneck. Jasper is built to hold that together. That problem is real, it is expensive, and it is not one a seed stage company has.

The problem a seed stage company has is that nobody writes at all. No amount of voice governance fixes an empty publishing calendar. Founders sometimes buy the enterprise-shaped answer to the small-company problem, use it enthusiastically for three weeks, and then let it renew quietly for a year.

What we would tell you on a call

If you have marketers, buy the software. If you have one marketer who is drowning in production volume, buy the software.

If you have no marketer, are not going to hire one this quarter, and the drafts you already have are sitting unpublished, then software is not what is missing. What is missing is the person after the draft.

Be honest

When Jasper is the better choice.

If you have a marketing team of several people producing content at volume, Jasper is the better purchase and this is not a close call. That is the market it is built for, and building for enterprise and upper mid-market marketing organisations is a legitimate choice rather than a weakness. Brand voice held consistent across a dozen contributors, campaign briefs reused across regions, review workflows that a compliance function will accept: these are real problems that only exist above a certain company size, and an execution service does not address any of them. If your bottleneck is that six marketers each produce good work in six slightly different voices, buy Jasper, and do not spend a call with us finding that out.

Comparison questions

Does Jasper publish content for you?
Not to a CMS, social network, ad platform, or email platform natively. Checked on 27 August 2026, Jasper's published integration list contains no native publishing destination of that kind. Its export integrations deliver .docx and .png files into Google Drive, SharePoint, and Box. Jasper's own documentation describes WordPress publishing as running through Zapier or Make, which requires a Jasper API token and a Business plan.
But Jasper has a LinkedIn and WordPress extension. Is that not publishing?
It is worth being accurate here. Jasper ships a browser extension that overlays sites including LinkedIn, WordPress, HubSpot, and Gmail, so you can generate and edit copy in place. That is genuinely useful. It is not a publish integration, because you are still the one pressing publish in the other product. The distinction matters only if the person who would press publish does not exist.
How much does Jasper cost?
Retrieved 27 August 2026 from Jasper's pricing page: Pro is $69 per seat per month billed monthly, or $59 per seat per month billed yearly, and includes one seat. Business is custom pricing with a twelve month commitment. Those are the only two tiers. Third-party comparison pages still list an older cheaper plan that no longer exists, so check the source page rather than a roundup.
Is Zway a Jasper alternative?
Only in the sense that founders often evaluate both. They are different categories. Jasper is software your team operates. Zway is an execution service where trained operators run your channels daily using a machine strategy layer. If you are comparing them on price per seat you are comparing the wrong attribute, because one of them includes the person.
Why do founders abandon tools like this?
Usually not because the output was bad. The current generation of marketing AI drafts well. Founders abandon these products because the draft is the finish line for the software and the starting line for the work, and at a five person company there is nobody whose job is to take it from there. The subscription keeps renewing while the folder of unpublished drafts gets longer.
What should a two person startup buy instead?
Honestly, often nothing yet. If you are pre-launch and have time, doing your own distribution is frequently the right answer, and the founder voice advantage is real. Buy software when you have someone to operate it, and buy execution when you have decided that person is never going to be you.

Get an honest answer about fit.

We will tell you on the call if another option suits you better. That happens often enough that we built a page about it.
