A 30 day plan you can actually run

Enter your stage, buyer, budget band, weekly hours, and the channels you already run. This generates a copyable 30 day plan naming one primary channel and one supporting channel, with week by week actions and a list of what to deliberately skip. It is a decision table in your browser, not an AI call.

30 DAY GROWTH PLAN
Generated by the Zway 30 day plan generator. Rule based: a decision table
running in your browser, with no AI call and no data sent anywhere.

CONTEXT
  Stage Launched, no customers
  Buyer Developers
  Budget $500 to $2,000 a month
Your hours 8 a week, about 34 across 30 days
  Founder visible Yes
  Already running twitter, blog

THE ONE THING
Get to ten customers who found you without a personal introduction. Everything else this month is premature.

CHANNELS
  Primary Reddit /channels/reddit ~4.8 hrs/wk
  Support Hacker News /channels/hacker-news ~2.0 hrs/wk
  Review Measurement ~1.2 hrs/wk

WEEK 1 (days 1 to 7) about 8.0 hours
[ ] Reddit: Pick three subreddits. Read the rules and the last month of posts in each.
[ ] Reddit: Leave ten useful comments across them. No links, no product mentions.
[ ] Hacker News: Two substantive comments a week on other people's threads.
[ ] Set up one conversion event and tag every outbound link with UTMs.

WEEK 2 (days 8 to 14) about 8.0 hours
[ ] Reddit: Answer three older questions that your product exists to fix, in detail.
[ ] Reddit: Draft one post that would be worth reading even if your product did not exist.
[ ] Hacker News: Nothing promotional until you have something worth showing.
[ ] Talk to two customers or two people who did not buy. Write down their words.

WEEK 3 (days 15 to 21) about 8.0 hours
[ ] Reddit: Publish that post in the single best-fit subreddit and stay in the thread for four hours.
[ ] Reddit: Do not repost it elsewhere. Substantially similar posts across subreddits are treated as spamming.
[ ] Hacker News: Two substantive comments a week on other people's threads.
[ ] Halfway check: hours actually spent against hours planned. Do not change the plan.

WEEK 4 (days 22 to 30) about 8.0 hours
[ ] Reddit: Follow up in the thread with what you changed after the feedback.
[ ] Reddit: Write every objection down verbatim. That list is next month's content plan.
[ ] Hacker News: Nothing promotional until you have something worth showing.
[ ] Write the month up in one page: what shipped, what landed, what you will drop.

DO NOT DO THIS MONTH
x Paid social. Paid amplifies a message that already converts. Without that message it buys an expensive education.
x Influencer and UGC. Creator work assumes an audience that buys on recommendation. Your buyer runs an evaluation instead.
x Newsletter. A newsletter needs an audience to send to. Build one somewhere else first, then own it.
x At this budget the highest-return purchase is an editor or a video cutter, not media. Buy back your own hours first.
x Do not rebuild the website this month. It is the most satisfying way to avoid distribution.
x Do not change the plan on day 9 because week one was quiet. Week one is always quiet.

WHAT TO MEASURE
  - Reddit: Replies from strangers, and signups carrying a reddit UTM.
  - Hacker News: Signups and the quality of the objections. Time on the front page is a vanity number.
  - Hours actually spent against the 8 you planned. This predicts month two better than any other number.

DAY 30 CHECK
  - Did the primary channel produce a conversation with a stranger?
If not, the problem is the message, not the channel. Changing channel will not fix it.
  - Did you keep the cadence, or did week three vanish?
If it vanished, halve the plan rather than repeating it.
  - What is the one objection you heard most? Answer it publicly in month two.

What you are deliberately not doing

  • Paid social. Paid amplifies a message that already converts. Without that message it buys an expensive education.
  • Influencer and UGC. Creator work assumes an audience that buys on recommendation. Your buyer runs an evaluation instead.
  • Newsletter. A newsletter needs an audience to send to. Build one somewhere else first, then own it.
  • At this budget the highest-return purchase is an editor or a video cutter, not media. Buy back your own hours first.
  • Do not rebuild the website this month. It is the most satisfying way to avoid distribution.
  • Do not change the plan on day 9 because week one was quiet. Week one is always quiet.

This is rule based. It runs a decision table in your browser, makes no AI calls, and knows nothing about your product, your category, or your competitors. It cannot see whether your positioning is right, and weak positioning is the most common reason a plan like this returns nothing.

How this works

What the numbers mean.

  • 01Your answers rank twelve channels through the same weighted model as the channel picker, then the top one becomes primary and the second becomes supporting. The bottom three become the do-not-do list, because naming what you are skipping is what makes the rest survivable.
  • 02Each channel carries a four week play written for that channel specifically, so the plan says what to do on Reddit or on LinkedIn rather than telling you to create quality content. Your hours are split roughly sixty percent primary, twenty five percent supporting, fifteen percent measurement.
  • 03Below four hours a week the plan drops the supporting channel entirely and says so. That is not a limitation of the generator, it is the honest arithmetic of running two channels on three hours.

Assumptions and limits

  • Rule based and offline. No AI call is made, nothing is sent anywhere, and the same inputs always produce the same plan.
  • The plays are our operating practice, not measured benchmarks. They are opinionated on purpose, because a plan that hedges gives you nothing to execute.
  • It cannot judge your positioning, your pricing, or whether the product is ready. Those decide the outcome more than the channel does, and no generator can see them.

Questions about this tool

Is this generated by an AI model?
No. It is a decision table: your answers apply weights to twelve channels, the ranking selects a pre-written four week play, and the text is assembled in your browser. Nothing is sent to a model or a server, and identical answers always produce an identical plan. We say so because plenty of tools in this category imply otherwise.
Why does the plan only name one or two channels?
Because a month is short and every channel has a fixed weekly cost before it returns anything. One channel run properly for four weeks produces a signal you can act on. Four channels run occasionally produce four accounts that look abandoned, which is worse than not starting.
What if I disagree with the primary channel?
Run yours instead, and keep the structure. The value here is the shape: one primary channel, a defined weekly cadence, an explicit list of what you are not doing, and a day 30 review with a real question in it. The channel selection is the part you should feel free to override.
Thirty days is short. What can it realistically produce?
Conversations, objections, and a cadence you either kept or did not. It will not produce a repeatable acquisition channel, and any plan promising that in a month is describing something else. The month is a test of whether the message lands and whether the work actually happens.
How is this different from what Zway does?
This generates a plan. Zway is an execution service: the difference is that a plan sits in a document until someone does the work, and the doing is where almost every growth effort fails. Use the plan to decide what should happen, then be honest about who is going to do it every week.

This tool is free and there is nothing to sign up for. If you would rather have the work done than calculate it, that is what Zway does.
